From Blank Walls to Masterpieces – Let the Painting Begin!

Have you ever stopped to think just how special and unique International Mural Fest is not just to Sheffield, Tasmania, but to all of Australia?

Each year, from a wide pool of entries, nine talented artists are selected by an esteemed panel to travel to ‘The Town of Murals’. Their mission: to create a vibrant, thought-provoking mural based on the annual theme. Over the course of the week, Sheffield’s Mural Park transforms into an open-air gallery filled with colour, creativity, and community spirit.

Set against the spectacular backdrop of Mt Roland and surrounded by two decades of winning murals, this year’s event promises to be unforgettable. We are proud to welcome our 2025 muralists:

International Mural Fest is free and open to the public. From Sunday 2nd November, visit Mural Park to meet the artists, vote for your favourite mural, and even try your hand at painting on our public mural painting.

Then, join us for the grand finale on Saturday 8th November. From 12 Noon to 2PM, enjoy live entertainment by Rosie Haden’s Under the Radar, followed by the eagerly anticipated Mural Miniature Auction and Awards Presentation at 2PM.
